I’m Brielle, a self-taught baker and recipe creator who has developed a particular passion 
for European baking. Wooden Whisk Patisserie is located in Houston, TX where I live with my lovely family. My love for all things baking began when I came across photos of French pastries like macarons, profiteroles, and mille-feuille while scrolling through Pinterest one day when I was about 13. My first attempt at making macarons was mediocre to say the least, but when attempting to bake them a second time, it was... well, a disaster. From that point on I was determined to master the recipe. I started collecting cookbooks, watching baking videos and reading all sorts of blog posts in order to hone my skills and create the *perfect* macaron recipe. While refining my macarons, I began experimenting baking other pastries as well. I soon realized I absolutely loved creating classic, elegant desserts. My hope for Wooden Whisk Patisserie is to share my passion with you all and inspire a love for amazing food in you as well!
